Founded in 1976 by Francis John Zam, FJ Zam began as a family-driven enterprise built on hard work, precision, and integrity. Francis, a skilled tradesman with a deep respect for craftsmanship, established the company to provide for his growing family and to offer dependable services to the Southern California construction industry.

Over the next several decades, Francis developed a reputation for doing the job right the first time. From commercial developments to landmark restoration projects, his hands-on approach and commitment to excellence became the hallmark of FJ Zam’s work.

Today, his son Kal Zam leads the company with that same spirit of integrity and drive for excellence. Under Kal’s leadership, FJ Zam has expanded its services to include waterproofing, air sealants, and exterior building restoration all while staying true to its roots—delivering specialized solutions for both restoration and new construction projects throughout California.
